English summary: The papyri of antiquity are valuable evidence of daily life- legal documents and other writings supply a view into administration, taxation, agriculture, business and trade, but also the real of private law. It is the last subject that Hans-Albrecht Rupprecht takes under consideration. How did the legal coexistence of individual ethnic groups function? How did their laws work with each other? How were commercial transactions regulated and decrees enforced? These and similar questions are answered in this work and Rupprecht comes to a paradoxical conclusion: Although the population in the Roman period was predominantly Egyptian, it was Greek law above all that was implemented. German description: Die Papyri der Antike sind wertvolle Zeugnisse des Alltagsleben - Urkunden und andere Schriften liefern Einblicke in Verwaltung, Steuern, Landwirtschaft, Handel und Gewerbe, aber auch in privatrechtliche Bereiche.
